Economic Development: Business attraction/expansion/retention programs; business assistance programs and ombudsman services; assist in development of downtown specific plan update, manage rehabilitation loan program; administer façade improvement program, commercial rehabilitation program and small business fee deferral program; site selection and development processing assistance; facilitate development of commercial/industrial projects such as construction of 66-acre sub-regional shopping center Community Facilities: Assist in the completion and construction of the new Outdoor Sports Complex and Morgan Hill Library Housing Programs: Administer Below Market Rate (BMR) ownership and rental programs, rehabilitation loans and grants for seniors and mobile home owners; develop affordable housing projects such as Madrone Plaza - 95 ownership single family and townhouse style homes, Habitat for Humanity – 6 single family homes; administer Employee Downpayment Assistance Program
